The Rising Starters Summer Camp is an intensive, one-week program designed for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who aspire to become leaders and changemakers through entrepreneurship.  This camp blends entrepreneurship with the dynamic world of fashion.  $500 current grades 9-11

In this course, you will explore what the field of psychology teaches us about how to be happier, how to feel less stressed, and how to thrive in high school and beyond. The lessons along with short weekly ‘happiness homework’ assignments will ultimately prepare you to put these scientific findings into practice. All tuition, books, and materials are covered by SDP.  Summer courses take place at the 1500 Spring Garden St. location in Philadelphia.  Courses include English Composition, Speech, College Algebra, Visual Design Fundamentals, and Intro to Business & Entrepreneurship. ASAP Debate Summer Speech Academy ASAP Debate is hosting the Summer Speech Academy focused on raising students’ voices on issues they care about! Participants will be building leadership and public speaking skills while creating their own Original Oratory speeches culminating in a speech tournament at the end of the week!  FREE grades 4-12
early June Philly Journalism Camp through The Philadelphia Writing Project at The University of Pennsylvania Students will explore journalism as a way of making an impact through writing. This six-day hybrid format program will include presentations by professional journalists and multiple opportunities for publication using text, photography, and short videos. Students will research and write about events and ideas of interest and get feedback from journalism teachers and other participants.

early June Ed Snider Summer Hockey Camp

Snider holds numerous summer camps for students of all ages and skill levels each year from the end of June through the end of August. Camps are typically one week long and operate from 9 AM – 4:30 PM. In addition to on-ice practices, campers participate in dryland training exercises, academic activities, outdoor games, life skills sessions, and educational field trips.

 

Programs are located at a variety of rinks throughout the city.

The Jefferson College of Rehabilitation Sciences (JCRS) High School REACH Program serves rising juniors and seniors who wish to explore careers in exercise science, physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), athletic training (AT), and speech-language pathology (SLP) and who are traditionally underrepresented in these disciplines.

Our six-week Summer Camp runs from July 5 - August 12, Mondays - Fridays, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Students will develop literacy and math skills, create engineering and coding projects in our SMARTLab, engage in fun activities such as yoga, dance, and water play, and will go on weekly trips. 

Students will receive breakfast, lunch, and daily snacks.

1. Asian Arts Initiative’s Camp Bruce Lee, in partnership with the Bruce Lee Foundation, is a week-long program for youth (Ages 10-16) that teaches confidence and self-knowledge in a mind, body, spirit curriculum based on Bruce Lee’s philosophies and life.

 

2. Join us for Asian Arts Initiative’s Youth Arts Workshop’s FREE Summer Arts Camp! This summer we will focus on our body, physical health, and mental wellness. Students will engage in various creative art processes and guest artist workshops, as well as have their work featured in a week-long showcase from August 10 to August 18, 2023.
