Upon acceptance as an ASPIRE Scholar, you will participate in a number of interactive experiences designed to expose and introduce you to the profession of nursing.

The Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program (SEAP) provides an opportunity for students to participate in research at a Department of Navy (DoN) laboratory during the summer.

University of Pennsylvania GEARS Day The Society of Women Engineers at the University of Pennsylvania is happy to invite you to the Penn GEARS (Girls in Engineering and Related Sciences) Day for girls in high school. GEARS Day is a day-long camp intended to educate high school girls about the engineering profession and inspire interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields. You will participate in hands-on workshops focusing on various engineering disciplines including bioengineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. Early November Fox Chase Cancer Center Immersion Science Program

The goal of the Immersion Science Program

is to provide comprehensive science research

training to high school students in order to prepare them for future careers in science and medicine.

Students will gain hands-on

training in basic laboratory techniques and conceptual skills including experimental design and analysis, the

cellular basis for cancer, and hypothesis development, as well as gaining an appreciation for the importance of

working together as a team to address a significant biomedical problem.
FREE must be 16 years old by early January AND have completed high school Biology and Chemistry
